Inner Seoul: Week 13

You can add me as a supporter to switch up the Thanksgiving games and end the Lions and Cowboys tradition. These games were not competitive and had many people take afternoon naps along with the Seahawks. One person told me that if they were going to have the Lions play at least have them play against an equally horrible team, like the Raiders. Not a bad idea…well, at least it would be more of a game…….While you think that over, here are the notes from week 13:

DeAngelo Williams is going to be a very high pick in fantasy drafts next year. Here is the quality of the Thursday night football games, this week the Raiders take on the Chargers on national TV. Anyone excited………. How quickly things change in the NFL. Last week we were all talking about how Matt Cassell is going to be a highly paid free agent next year, and then this week comes and he gets shut down by the Steelers. Granted, he still will be highly coveted next year, we can now hold back our Tom Brady comparisons for awhile. Same goes for the New York Jets…The AFC is up in the air. Even the 11-1 Titans are not a lock to go to the Super Bowl. Michael Turner – 1 Ladanian Tomlinson – 0 Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself, at least Dick Cheaney shot somebody else……The Giants will not miss Plax…….not with Hixon, Smith, Toomer, Moss, and Manningham Great catch, Steve Smith. You too, Mark Clayton. Just when you thought the Broncos were shutting down their running back factory, they produce Peyton Hillis. He has emerged as the Broncos starting back and ran for 129 and a touchdown this last Sunday. (One touchdown got called back for holding)This was on the New York Jets. Yes, the same Jets who stuffed Chris Johnson and LenDale White the  previous week. Matt Ryan might win the Offensive Rookie of the Year, but I could make a strong case for Matt Forte. The Saint’s receivers took a tip from the Braylon Edward’s school of drops. They had 8 drops on Sunday. Running backs run the ball, and that generates rushing yards…..Reggie Bush, a running back, had 0 yards rushing and played the whole game….. Willis McGahee suited up but did not touch the field. Baltimore’s running situation is getting more confusing than the Patriots injury report. Stay away. Wes Welker has just regained consciousnessDon’t start the talks about how the Broncos beat the Jets, and the Raiders beat the Broncos, so the Raiders can beat the Jets. I hate that type of nonsense. The NFC B(East) is no more..that title goes to the NFC South. The Monday Night game with the Panther vs. the Bucs will be fun to watch.. What a great moment for Cadillac Williams. He scored on a 8 yard TD run, his first in 14 months. What a comeback…. Bengals – 10 plays, 15 yards…. The Lions…….Naw too easy.
